The Silence Beyond Eden

Image
The Silence Beyond Eden  The sky, dust-laden, wears the stains of ash, while restless souls gather pearls of eternity, yet their hunger remains unsatiated. Frontiers bleed, dreams crumble into ruins, and nameless children inherit an unknown Eden's ashes. Once, your footsteps consecrated the earth, your breath sanctified the wandering winds. Now, iron and fire dictate the fate of spring. Who taught the flowers to fear their blossoming? Perhaps the giants still play their ancient game, moving kingdoms across the chessboard of the earth, while pawns of flesh and blood vanish beneath their shadows. And you remain silent, beyond the ruins of paradise. Is your silence the final mystery of creation, or the permission through which the giants reign?

Unmoved Ship

Image
Unmoved Ship Without warning, the storm bared its sharpened teeth, joining hands with the relentless rain over the Atlantic, where a laden ship held its course through the gathering dusk. The sea rose in fury. Towering waves hurled themselves against the hull, as though they would board the vessel with the raging rain. Upon the bridge, the resolute captain guided the ship with quiet resolve. The struggle swelled to its fiercest pitch— ship against sea, an echo of the primordial contest woven into creation itself. Yet the unmoved ship sailed steadily toward its destined harbour, faithful to its calling, as the soul crosses the boundless ocean of life. By Goutam Roy

Strife

Image
Strife Apparently placid, the sea, with gentle ripples, seems scarcely turbulent. Yet beneath its flowing depths, near the sleeping volcanoes of primordial ages— perhaps once ablaze with fury, spewing molten lava to reshape the world according to its own will. Unaware of the hidden danger, the ocean drifts on, bearing the messages of creation. Thus the strife of creation and destruction goes on through every sphere of the universe. By  Goutam Roy

Pilgrims' Journey

Image
Pilgrims' Journey Scorching heat seems to evaporate the blood itself, while blinding sandstorms sweep across the desert. Yet the wayfarers trudge onward through the dunes, bearing the grace of God, keeping beyond the reach of lurking giants, avoiding the scratches of their sharpened claws. Though they are destined to perish one day, the pilgrims journey on, counting every human soul as a sacred bead upon the rosary of the Almighty. By Goutam Roy

Don't Pull Me Back

Image
Don't Pull Me Back Don't Pull me back from behind, lest the journey be stirred by turbulent ripples on its way to the destined shore. The passage must remain calm and quiet, lest I return once more to the labyrinth of life's unending cycle, pressed again into the crucible of becoming. Don’t draw me back from behind. Instead, let the path grow smooth as I travel onward toward the eternal abode. By Goutam Roy

Hollowness

Image
Hollowness Strange it seems to feel that within the vast hollowness of the universe— where only a fraction is held by countless stars and planets, forming celestial families of enduring companions— year after year they linger, dazzling the deep black abyss, as if beckoning trust into the hearts of homeless pilgrims journeying through their transient, allotted days. Strange it seems to feel that within this hollowness lies hidden the mystery of creation. By Goutam Roy

Mysterious Clouds

Image
Mysterious Clouds Mysterious clouds Beckon the inquisitive mind To set sail into a world Of radiant mystery— A realm woven from Hydrogen, helium, And cosmic dust. Forever giving birth to stars, While elsewhere preserving The ashes of the dead, As in the vast Carina Nebula, Where creation and destruction Dance together, And colorful gaseous veils Drift through eternity, Composing cosmic histories Beyond the reach Of human knowledge And earthly senses. There the Creator keeps A hidden tapestry, Woven within the nebulae, Quenching the thirst For wonder and happiness Throughout creation. By Goutam Roy

The Unseen Call

Image
The Unseen Call Beyond the borders of waking thought, the pilgrimage drifts in deepening trance, where fatigue alone carries the burdened entity through shadowed years— befriending shadows. Yet the transient inner compass wavers, unreliable as starlight through storm-torn clouds, its needle spinning wild in the heart's uncharted hollows, whispering paths that dissolve like mist at dawn. The mind swings wide through faded veils and hollow winds, chasing elusive echoes across forgotten thresholds. And still it wanders onward, drawn by a distant call unseen, toward horizons that recede forever into the mystery beyond. By Goutam Roy

Abyss Ahead

Image
Abyss Ahead  If the song of seasons— nature's timeless science— is heard along the way, the keepers of fleeting days  may soothe their minds,  quenching their thirst  with quiet contentment  through their allotted time. Then the jewel of the cosmos  shall glitter with delight, adorning tender blossoms  and fragile petals for a little while, as though no abyss waited ahead. By Goutam Roy

Beyond the Storm

Image
Beyond the Storm Sudden lightning rends  the silent chambers of the mind;  dark currents surge  and sweep away  the buried roots of night. Lord of ruin walks;  dust-born shadows  lose their hold, silence fills the earth. Holding golden feet,  I drift toward the shining shore—  storm dissolves to peace. Heart awakened now,  I cross the boundless sea of light,  resting in the Eternal.  By  Goutam Roy

Strangers

Image
Strangers They came, perhaps, By the design of God And Goddess— Mami and Enki, Who can truly know? Yet their traces remain, Still telling the tale Of lives once rich And wondrous, Lived beneath Divine guidance. Why, then, do they remain Strangers to later ages? Even the wisest scholars Cannot uncover the cause. Yet they bequeathed A priceless treasure— Wisdom to guide Future generations Toward salvation And eternal peace. By Goutam Roy

Mount Vesuvius

Image
Mount Vesuvius The omen stirred beneath the earth, Yet remained hidden from the busy People of Pompeii then, On the twenty-fourth of August, Seventy-nine CE. Suddenly the sleeping giant, Mount Vesuvius, Awoke and erupted in fury, Hurling ash and pumice stone To burn and bury The prosperous city. Within a matter of days, Darkness descended. A few could flee, But most were consumed By the searing heat Of pyroclastic flows. Thousands of dreams Lay buried beneath the ash, And the cries of their souls Seem still to echo through Pompeii. As if they warn mankind Not to awaken The countless Vesuviuses Hidden within secret chambers, Lest they unleash Pyroclastic surges To snatch away the lives Of millions upon this beautiful planet.  By  Goutam Roy

Lost World

Image
Short Introduction:- Lost World reflects on the vanished civilizations that once flourished across the globe. Inspired by ancient cultures whose achievements survive in ruins, inscriptions, and myths, the poem explores how the legacy of the past continues to influence the present. Lost World They vanished from this earth, Leaving behind the imprint Of their rich yet Mysterious lives— Their dwellings buried Beneath the dust of ages, Their stories waiting To be unveiled. The echoes of their wisdom Still linger In weathered stones, Forgotten scripts, And silent monuments That defy oblivion. They departed, Leaving behind Their artifacts And the enduring essence Of their existence. Their hidden legacy, Flowing through the currents Of time, Continues to shape And safeguard humanity. Brief Interpretation:- The poem portrays lost civilizations as enduring presences rather than extinct societies. Though their cities may have fallen and their voices faded, their knowledge, creativity, and c...

Endless Path

Image
Endless Path The journey down this road has continued since immemorial ages; none can say when it first began. None can tell where the road emerges from, nor where it finds its end. It drifts onward through an endless expanse, as though destined to continue forever. No one knows the purpose of this pilgrimage, yet each of us must tread this endless path. By   Goutam Roy

Giant’s Causeway

Image
Giant’s Causeway Something—or someone— Still lingers within the cave, Formed amid forty thousand Hexagonal basalt columns, Some rising more than Twenty feet in height— The legendary causeway Of the giant Finn McCool. Often, the massive door Is said to slide away. To the astonishment of many, Inquisitive cameras, From drones to ground-based lenses, Have sought a glimpse Of the one who opens it, Yet none has ever been captured. Only the movement Of the door remains recorded. Experts' tireless efforts And endless arguments Have failed to unravel The mystery dwelling Within the cave. Perhaps the ancient battle Between Finn McCool And the Scottish giant Benandonner Still rages on— A conflict enduring Since primordial ages, As countless struggles continue Across the face of the planet. Beyond the last flight

Image
Beyond the last flight  Weary birds descend, Through the hush of fading light— Branches welcome rest. Folded wings grow still, Silent prayers drift with the dusk, Toil forgotten now. Beyond evening's veil, Thoughts wander to unseen shores— Silence waits beyond. Last flight softly ends, Burdens fall like autumn leaves— Time releases all. Restless hearts at peace, Merging with the infinite— Calm without an end. By Goutam Roy

Checkmate

Image
Checkmate In the inland realm of the mind, A ceaseless struggle unfolds— A battlefield as relentless As the contest upon a chessboard, Where forces stand arranged, From pawn to king and queen. Throughout the course of life, Every move seems woven Into a pattern of perfect order. Yet fate, seated on the other side, Plays its subtle and deceptive moves, Seeking to checkmate the soul And claim victory at the end. Many cherished dreams Remain unrealized, Their intended moves left unplayed. Still, relentless effort endures, Striving against the odds To triumph in the game of life.

Train on the Same Rail

Image
Train on the Same Rail A train’s relentless rush, threading rails like a shuttle through life’s woven tapestry— threads of joy and grief, dreams drawn whole across the loom of years. An unseen force steers the stars in fixed decree, along cosmic rails no soul can break or flee; its sovereign motion binds all in destiny’s thrall. Yet each soul must seize life’s truth from the void’s grim jaws—or fade like lotus-eaters, lost in sloth’s slowly devouring grasp. By Goutam Roy

Cataclysm

Image
Cataclysm A foreboding hush Enveloped the ambience. The cackle of demons Drifted through the air, While an owl's hooting Warned the timid rabbits To hide deep Within their dens. After a little while, Countless thunders Would shake the earth With fatal fury. Every living thing Appeared gloomy, Trembling in fear Of approaching doom. Perhaps it was The predestined plot Of a cataclysm. By Goutam Roy

Don't Dig the Graves

Image
Don't Dig the Graves Don't dig the graves. Countless unfinished dreams will rise and unveil the plot behind the play— a script written only for murder, conceived by minds plagued with paranoia and poisoned by Skepticism, vices too often embraced by the brutish heart. Don't dig the graves. Let them lie in deep sleep, finding at last a respite from the pain, the scars of bullets, and the burdens they carried. Don't dig the graves to expose the hollowness of the creed they once held close within their hearts. By Goutam Roy

From Behind

Image
From Behind Whispers drifted from the forest's depths, A sudden cackle widening the dark, Deepening the mystery Of an unseen presence Haunting the hilly path Beside the shadowed woods. At the sound of furtive gnawing, The wanderer turned back— A nameless horror breathing in silence. An uncanny echo Entered his heart And refused to leave. Sweat streamed from his brow, Soaking cloth and thought alike; Fear ripened into panic, And the mind trembled Within its own dark chamber. Then it came without warning— A sudden violence of air From behind his days. He stumbled. He fell. Blood blossomed From the fractured silence of his head, Spreading its crimson memory Into the dust. Mobile cops, bending Over a fallen hour, Lifted him away From the unfinished dark. By  Goutam Roy

Quest of Serenity

Image
Quest for Serenity In quest of shade, celestial wanderers fly here and there, seeking a moment's breath with hearts content, clutching desperately at the branches of trees. Yet their refuge seems but transient, for turbulence reigns everywhere, where death remains the principal plot of life's unfolding drama. By Goutam Roy

New Epic

Image
New Epic If those ancient days were to live again, when God walked near His children as their guide, an epic would be written once more, to steer the chariot of Time according to the Lord's will. The air would grow dusty, and the sun would hang hazy in the sky. The incessant play of loss and victory would continue amid the ruins of the world. Yet the presence of God would bring a solace capable of cooling the hearts of all. By  Goutam Roy

Light Far Distant

Image
Light Far Distant The more we gain, the more we crave. Life's currents surge like swift rivers, sweeping past all that stands before us. Without a thought, we forsake the hidden life dwelling within. The more we run, the farther we fall behind, chasing horizons that retreat with every step. Our days revolve within a shadowed land, while a distant light beckons beyond the dark. By  Goutam Roy

Cleopatra

Image
Cleopatra Too hard a nut to crack, hidden within the abyss of the soul, she drifts at times upon the surface, and at times descends into unfathomed blue depths. Men and women alike seek to venture inward, searching the hollow for some elusive elixir, yet return empty-handed. For the door of the heart remains partly sealed, its chambers veiled in ancient mystery. Perhaps Cleopatra was never one woman alone— her shadow lingers still in countless hearts, where restless seekers dive for pearls in the blue deep. By  Goutam Roy

Twilight Respite

Image
Twilight Respite As daylight wanes, weary birds descend through quiet air,  drawn to the shelter of familiar branches. They fold their wings  and offer a silent plea for a brief reprieve  from the ceaseless summons of toil and obligation. Gazing beyond the gathering dusk, their thoughts wander toward horizons unseen,  where silence outlives time. There, beyond the last flight,  all burdens are surrendered,  and the restless heart finds  its place within the infinite calm.  By  Goutam Roy

Cry Of Nature

Image
Cry of Nature Once adorned with countless hues, arrayed in beauty and abundance, she now bears the scars of relentless erosion and ruin, her delicate balance undone. Can you hear her cry? Can you feel her rage? Or do you feign deafness, lost within the frenzy of human ambition? Look around— the once-faithful seasons stagger from their ancient course, disturbed by her growing wrath. Yet your numbed spirit continues its assault upon the mother's breast, driven by an endless hunger to stand above all else. Alas, you never paused to see how greed has turned a nurturing friend into a wounded force. Grand declarations echo through summits and assemblies, while meaningful action lingers in exile. Blanche Monnier: The Unfinished Tale

Image
Blanche Monnier : The Unfinished Tale Grant me another life, Oh God, a life beyond this one, where I may meet my beloved again and tell the unfinished tale— a tale of love, a tale of pain, born within a darkened room, where straw became my bed and stale, rotting scraps my daily meal. There, I befriended insects, my only companions, while imprisoned in a living hell— all to preserve the hollow honour of pride, the vanity of custom, the  tyranny of convention. Oh God, grant me a freer life in another birth, that I may finally quench the thirst of my waiting heart. By  Goutam Roy

Blitz

Image
Blitz  Blitz in the still mind— dark waves rise and wash away hidden roots of night. Lord of ruin walks; dust-born shadows lose their hold, silence fills the earth. Holding golden feet, I drift toward the shining shore— storm dissolves to peace. Heart upright at last, calm upon the final voyage; no fiend follows there. By  Goutam Roy
