The Silence Beyond Eden

Image
The Silence Beyond Eden  The sky, dust-laden, wears the stains of ash, while restless souls gather pearls of eternity, yet their hunger remains unsatiated. Frontiers bleed, dreams crumble into ruins, and nameless children inherit an unknown Eden's ashes. Once, your footsteps consecrated the earth, your breath sanctified the wandering winds. Now, iron and fire dictate the fate of spring. Who taught the flowers to fear their blossoming? Perhaps the giants still play their ancient game, moving kingdoms across the chessboard of the earth, while pawns of flesh and blood vanish beneath their shadows. And you remain silent, beyond the ruins of paradise. Is your silence the final mystery of creation, or the permission through which the giants reign?

Crimson Omen

Image
Introduction: “Crimson Omen” captures a fleeting yet powerful moment when the natural world transforms into a harbinger of unease. Set against the haunting backdrop of Shark Bay, the poem blends vivid imagery with emotional intensity, portraying the sky not merely as a setting but as a living presence. As Cyclone Narelle approaches, the boundary between natural phenomenon and ominous sign begins to blur, evoking both awe and apprehension. Crimson Omen The sky burned crimson— an eerie face above Shark Bay. Men fled in awe, as if an omen rose unseen. That blood-red dawn spilled across the world. The crimson sky symbolizes both beauty and danger, suggesting an unspoken warning from nature. The approaching cyclone becomes more than a physical storm—it represents uncertainty and the fragile balance between ...

The Cerebral Blitz

Image
The Cerebral Blitz Haptics of the lip, and slow, savouring sips— marvellous stirrings rouse the cerebral cortex, raising a blitz in the cup. The generative fluid sets scattered thoughts to work; within minutes, imprinting its impulses upon surrounding minds. From morning to night, this liquid plays the role of bosom friend, helping us hurdle the long relay of life. This amber-hued wonder folds us in its embrace, rescuing us gently from the weight of monotony. By  Goutam Roy

Her Unfathomed Frame

Image
Her Unfathomed Frame We forge the frame, yet cannot fathom the mind’s bent alloy—as if it could be reshaped. Beneath a veil of natural tenderness, her thoughts bolt like a fickle pony. Her soft, melodious mirth cascades to entrap the feelings that oscillate in a desert heart— yet the bloom is never lasting. Harsh reality coils at her core, the cold axis around which she revolves her whole scheduled age. By  Goutam Roy
