Starry Night The nebula seems near the inner realm of Gogh, confined within an asylum, its swirling forms echoing the turbulence of his restless mind. And so, imagination was transformed into reality through his emotional vision and the deep dreaming of the artist's brush. Sometimes, the distant clouds appear in intense blues; sometimes they burn with orange, and sometimes they shine in luminous white. The living universe, it seems, longs to become one with the human soul— in suffering, in wonder, and in hope. The painting created long ago now appears strangely true when glimpsed through the lens of a great telescope searching the skies of Chile. The same colours of the nebula seem to awaken again within the colours of the artist's dream. Perhaps the living universe willingly desires to be captured within the human mind in this mysterious way— so that what the eye cannot yet behold, the dreaming soul may sometimes see first.
