The Silence Beyond Eden

Image
The Silence Beyond Eden  The sky, dust-laden, wears the stains of ash, while restless souls gather pearls of eternity, yet their hunger remains unsatiated. Frontiers bleed, dreams crumble into ruins, and nameless children inherit an unknown Eden's ashes. Once, your footsteps consecrated the earth, your breath sanctified the wandering winds. Now, iron and fire dictate the fate of spring. Who taught the flowers to fear their blossoming? Perhaps the giants still play their ancient game, moving kingdoms across the chessboard of the earth, while pawns of flesh and blood vanish beneath their shadows. And you remain silent, beyond the ruins of paradise. Is your silence the final mystery of creation, or the permission through which the giants reign?

Miles Without Arrival

Introduction:-

Miles Without Arrival is a reflective, philosophical poem that explores the idea of an inner journey rather than a physical one. It moves through the landscapes of the mind—where time, distance, and destination become uncertain. The poem carries a meditative tone, blending imagery of travel, dream, and silence to suggest that human existence itself may be an ongoing voyage without a fixed endpoint.
 Miles Without Arrival

Not all journeys begin with a step—

some awaken quietly

within the mind,

where distance has no map.

Miles lie ahead,

yet none can tell

when the voyage

will finally end.

The languid mind

falls silent, drowsy—

like the red sky

at sunset’s edge.

After daybreak,

he will drift

into a realm

woven with dreams.

He gathers slowly

the viaticum for the journey,

preparing to walk

those miles again.

And still, no arrival—

only the soft returning

of footsteps

to an unseen horizon.

Short Interpretation:-

The poem suggests that not all journeys are outward or visible; many unfold within the mind and soul. The “miles” symbolize life’s continuous search for meaning, while the absence of “arrival” reflects the idea that fulfillment or final understanding is never fully reached. The repetition of movement—preparing, drifting, returning—implies a cyclical existence, where each end becomes a new beginning. Ultimately, the poem conveys a quiet acceptance that the journey itself, not the destination, defines our experience.
